TED SLATER

Ted joined Slater Builders in early 2018. Ted attended University of the Pacific, where he played volleyball, participated in a financial internship, and was selected to be a part of a $1.5M stock market Student Investment Fund. Construction has always been a passion for Ted and turned into a career upon college graduation. Ted has a great sense of pride to join his family’s business as a fifth generation Slater/ McNeil in the construction industry.

Ted brings to Slater Builders an extensive background in multi-family construction, tenant improvement and retail development throughout California. As a former owner’s representative and construction manager, he has been involved in all phases of the development and construction process ranging from $10M- $55M in total hard costs. This gives Ted a unique perspective and skill-set, shaping him into a dynamic, proactive and strong project manager.

When not overseeing projects at Slater Builders, Ted enjoys spending time with his wife, Brianna, and their children Lilei, Teddy, and Kennedy. He also enjoys the process of restoring old cars with his Dad. Ted sits on the Board of Directors for the non-profit organization, Mae House, inspired by his younger sister, Hannah Mae.
